Welcome to the site!

My apologies for updating this blog so infrequently!  Given that the entire post-production team is made up of me and, well, just me so far, editing is pretty all-consuming of my attention.  Not to mention we shot more than 100 hours of raw footage for the film!  I’ve had my work cut out for me.  Nevertheless, I’m plugging along, and plan to have a first cut of the film by September.

Once post-production comes to a close later this fall, I’ll have time for more in-depth blogging.  Eventually we’ll roll out a new, updated website.  For somewhat more frequent updates, humorous quips, and links to articles relevant to our film, like our Facebook page.

Now, back to work!

Last week, we shot a scene at Beck’s Bistro in downtown Bradenton, where the owners kindly agreed to allow us filming privileges free of charge.  They did ask that we spread the word about a cause they support, and we’re glad to do so.

Rett Syndrome is a terrible disorder which affects tens of thousands of people worldwide, but a cure is close at hand.  Please join us in donating to the Rett Syndrome Research Trust, to help speed the process of developing a cure.

Our crazy 3 day shoot at the Cock N’ Bull pub is nearly wrapped! Tomorrow will be a well deserved break day!
